This main hospital in Danville is overall a really good facility that I would rate a 7/10. Compared to other hospital systems in the area, Hendricks is very patient centered with a strong emphasis on patient safety and interdepartmental communication. Patient staffing is not great but not bad either, and the pay is a little below area average. Most noticeable from other area hospitals is it’s cleanliness and emphasis on treating patients like members of the community instead of inventory through a factory

Very good work environment but definitely a tough specialty to work in. I love the staff and support system.

Staffing can be a challenge. Mgmt is solid, pay is average and good benefits. Large facility, but feels like a small community of good people.
